I was born in San Pedro Sula, the industrial city of Honduras.

At 6:45 pm on February 28, 1979.

Although I was born in San Pedro Sula, I grew up in the beautiful port of "Ceibita La Bella" or La Ceiba, Atlantida.  There I spent the first twelve years of my dear life en la Colonia de Sierra Pina, playing every evening games and going to the local Pentecoastal Church which my relatives back home still assist.

My favorite things to do when I was little were to go to the river and when ever my cousins would visit.

I am the oldest of the fourth generation in my whole family, there is my greatgrandmother, my grandmother, my mom who is the oldest daughter and then me.  I have no older cousins, its me - and the rest of the cousins follow.

My life changed when my mother who had lived in the USA for a while already, brought my sister and me to Mountain View, California.

Here my world opened up and I haven't stopped learning since.

In middle school, the effort to learn English was endless, I sign up for a Choir class, to help me with pronounciation, and to my very good luck I became part of a Linguistics professor's study, on how kids like me come to this country and learn English - depending on what factors are against them.  Her name is Guadalupe Valdez, and she teaches in the University of Stanford, Palo Alto, California.

Soon, we made friends and we started attending the local Seventh Day Adventist Church, there we joined a boys and girls camping group called Pathfinders (Conquistadores in Spanish).

'til this day I attend this very same church, making it my second family.

In High School, another change came about.  By this time my mom had met and married this wonderful man.   Evelyn (my sister) and me simply couldn't have a better stepfather.  His name is Ricardo, and because of his job, we moved to Hollywood, Florida.

There we received the greatest gift on earth; a little brother.

Ricardo Andres Aguilera Baqueiro

I am currently embarking on a journey of studies.  I am  looking forward to finishing school and graduating with a degree related to Business Management and Computers.  I hope to find a job in the international industry.

My sister is engaged to be married in about a year, she lives in Florida.  My mom, Ricardo, Ricardito and me are back in California, this time in San Jose.
